would like to adopt a cat but i live in the dorms at a&m? is this allowed of ignored? anyone tried it?

Answer: I can only assume by your typing, (grammatically speaking) that you are attending said school via a sports scholarship.
Just tell them that if you can't have your cat with you, you will play football some where else.
Or, try asking your adviser. I'm sure he/she would know this and other answers to questions you may have about going to school there.
