Dog Left Tied to Dumpster in Austin

Updated: Friday, September 19 2014, 11:38 AM CDT AUSTIN-- Austin Pets Alive! rescued a dog named Charles, who was found tied to a dumpster and was surrounded by bags of garbage. Officials say Charles was tied to the dumpster for at least two days and has second, or possibly third degree burns from his time in the sun. At this time, Austin Pets Alive! says there are no leads as to who left Charles tied to the dumpster. According to a press release from the shelter, Charles is very personable and quick to say hello to strangers without fear. He will be treated for his burns while he remains in the care of Austin Pets Alive!
